Park fees for foreigners
| Trek | Days charged (if billed per calendar day) | Class 1: Senaru or Sembalun | Class 2: Timbanuh, Tetebatu, Aik Berik |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 days, 1 night | 2 | Rp 500,000 | Rp 400,000 |
| 3 days, 2 nights | 3 | Rp 750,000 | Rp 600,000 |
| 4 days, 3 nights | 4 | Rp 1,000,000 | Rp 800,000 |
We worked these out from the daily rates in the fee table (Kompas TV, Nov 2025). Your eRinjani booking shows the number of days billed. Indonesian residents pay far less: Rp 50,000 per weekday on Class 1 trails.

Costs beyond the fee
- Porters. The park does not regulate porter pay, which is reported at Rp 175,000–250,000 a day.
- Insurance. Before November 2025, foreign trekkers paid Rp 200,000 for it. The new tariff report lists no amount.
- Transfers. Senggigi, Mataram and Bangsal are 60–100 km from the trailheads (see getting to the trailhead).
- One-way routes. A Sembalun-to-Senaru traverse ends on the other side of the mountain, so the drop-off is a different drive from the pickup.
- Too cheap? For a foreign trekker on a 3D2N Class 1 trek, Rp 750,000 in park fees is the floor before guide, porter or food costs. The park rules require a guide or an experienced climber, and groups of at least two.
